Large golden yellow blooms, with a crown of golden stamens in the centre a truly striking climber. She needs space mind you, not for the dainty arch or obelisk, she needs room. The foliage is almost evergreen and the stems dark and woody. thorns are vicious and plentiful.

Make sure you keep your bare root roses damp and free from the frost until planting. Once in the ground water regularly especially in cold windy conditions, it will seem strange to do so but it is important to keep the stems hydrated.
