What is the difference between a climber and a rambler?
A rambler is generally more vigorous and only flowers once for about 4/6 weeks during June / July. Ramblers are great for growing into old trees or over unsightly buildings. They are not suited to delicate arches or small gardens.
A climber will repeat flower over the course of the season. They also come in a great variation of size so are easier to accommodate in most gardens, both large and small.
Will my rose repeat flower?
All the roses on our site repeat flower unless otherwise stated. Roses flower from late May through to the Autumn, some even bare the odd bloom at Christmas!
Can I keep my rose in a Container?
All Roses will grow in a container, however they do become reliant on your for all their needs so go for a big pot and use a really rich compost, Rose, Tree and Shrub or a John Innes Number 3.
How do I treat Blackspot?
Blackspot is an airborne fungus and all roses are susceptible, just some more than others. How do I treat it? We recommend being proactive, so clear all the old rose leaves at the end of the season and give the area a winter wash with Sulphur Rose. Plants that are better fed and watered will be much more resistant to any of the airborne fungus's.
Please don't hesitate to ask us any of your rose related questions. We are always happy to answer.
